At Desert Dolls Ragdolls of California, we want bringing home your kitten to be a clear, comfortable, and exciting experience. Our small, family-raised cattery is located in Desert Hot Springs, California, and we welcome families from across California and beyond.

Reservations & Deposits
A $500 deposit is required to reserve a kitten. Once your reservation is confirmed, your kitten will no longer be offered as available. The $500 reservation/deposit is applied to the purchase price.
Our deposit cancellation policy is:
Within 48 hours of payment: You may cancel your reservation for a full refund of the deposit.
After 48 hours: The deposit becomes non-refundable.
Please contact Sam directly to request a cancellation or discuss a change in your plans. I understand circumstances can change and deposits can transfer to a future litter. Review your deposit receipt and purchase agreement carefully before making payment.
Your kitten’s purchase price, deposit, remaining balance, and any agreed delivery charges will be documented in your purchase paperwork. Please confirm payment arrangements with Sam before your scheduled pickup or delivery.
Three-Year Genetic Health Guarantee
Each kitten comes with a three-year health guarantee covering genetic diseases, subject to the specific terms of the signed purchase agreement. This guarantee does not cover viral illnesses (including Feline Infectious Peritonitis / FIP), parasitic infections, or bacterial infections.
Our breeding cats have undergone genetic screening through the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory and have tested negative for the tested variants associated with:
Mucopolysaccharidosis VI (MPS VI)
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)
Polycystic kidney disease (PKD1)
Please review your purchase agreement for the scope of coverage, required documentation, notification procedures, and available remedies. The guarantee should not be understood as a promise that a kitten will never develop an illness or need veterinary care.

Indoor-Only Environment
The Purchaser agrees that their Ragdoll cat will be kept strictly as an indoor pet. The Purchaser will not expose the cat to unknown outdoor animals. Allowing the cat outdoors unsupervised will render the health guarantee VOID.
Veterinary examination and guarantee terms
The Purchaser shall have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within seventy-two (72) hours of taking possession. All veterinary expenses incurred after the transfer of ownership are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.
Spay/Neuter Requirement
The Purchaser agrees to have the kitten spayed or neutered at the appropriate age as determined by their veterinarian. Written confirmation on the procedure must be provided to the Seller before registration documents will be released.
Assumption of Personal Circumstances/Preventive Care
The Purchaser acknowledges that they are solely responsible for any allergies, housing or landlord restrictions, and behavioral training of the kitten. The Purchaser shall maintain the kitten’s vaccination and deworming schedule as recommended by their veterinarian.

Kitten Delivery
I can arrange for pickup or delivery, guiding you through the exciting moment when your kitten becomes part of your family. I now offer personal delivery service to the LA, Orange County, and San Diego region for $350.

Purchase policy:
To hold a Purebred Ragdoll kitten we require a $500 deposit. We accept PayPal (PayPal with a 3% charge) Venmo, and Zelle for payment. We usually post pictures and descriptions of our available kittens at 5 weeks and Kittens are ready for adoption at 8 weeks. Under “kittens available” we will have the kittens birth date and the date the kitten is available for adoption.
Once a deposit is processed your kitten will be removed from “kittens available.” Once a deposit is made you have 48 hours to cancel for a full refund. then the deposit will become non-refundable. The $500 reservation/deposit is applied to the purchase price.
If you’re looking for a particular color pattern and sex then I would suggest placing a deposit to assure your pick in a future litter. In order to save a future kitten please text me at the phone number below to set up the deposit.

What breeds of kittens do you offer at Desert Dolls?
We specialize in the exquisite purebred Ragdoll breed. I only sell TICA certified Purebred Ragdoll Kittens. All kittens will receive their first shots prior to handover.
How do I select the right kitten for my family?
We provide detailed profiles and photos of each kitten in our “Select Your Kitten” section, allowing you to choose based on personality, appearance, and compatibility with your lifestyle.
What does the adoption process entail?
Once you’ve selected your perfect kitten, our adoption process involves arranging a pick up time or, if you prefer, we can do personal delivery. Your kitten will come with their first shots. Neutering and Spaying should be performed at the appropriate age as determined by your veterinarian. Written confirmation on the procedure must be provided to the Seller before registration documents will be released.
How can I prepare for my kitten's arrival at home?
Set up a designated space with essentials like a litter box, water, and food. Allow your kitten to explore and get comfortable in their new environment, offering them quiet time to adjust.
What support do you provide post-adoption?
Every purebred Ragdoll kitten comes with a THREE YEAR HEALTH GUARANTEE so you’re assured a healthy kitten that will thrive and become part of your family for many years. All of my breeding cats have undergone tests (UC DAVIS TESTING LABORATORY) and are negative for Mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS VI), Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), and Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD1).
